VillainCraft Resource Pack 1.7.5

The VillainCraft resource pack for Minecraft is a spattering of imagery which brings to mind the lairs of various fictional villains, like bad guys from Bond movies, mad scientists and other ne’er-do-well types. Effective use of shaders allows for the very few bright spots in this resource pack to really shine through, while making all the dark bits eerie, in a way. Many textures, like stone bricks, iron blocks and others which are popular for construction, have a kind of gloomy and foreboding look to them. Overall, VillainCraft changes the look of 75% or more of the blocks, items and objects in Minecraft.

That’s a good amount for any resource pack, but VillainCraft isn’t just any resource pack, after all. Painting swaps include an image of a hydrogen bomb going off, violent acts and maps of the Earth, all of which might fit into a player’s wicked world domination schemes in some way or another. Unlike many resource packs which are perfect for players seeking a different single player Minecraft experience, VillainCraft seems like the kind of resource pack that just begs to be enjoyed with other people. The creator has allowed for players to use his pack on their own private servers, so there might just be a world or two out there using the resource pack right now.
