Redwood Resource Pack 1.7.5

Galahir’s Redwood resource pack is an extra for the PC version of Minecraft which makes some pretty massive changes to the looks of various items and constructs throughout the game. Not only does it change the appearance of things placed in the player’s world, but it also makes some adjustments to the icons for those same items when the player is carrying them, or otherwise viewing them through the inventory screen, or GUI. Indeed, many of the textures look similar to their traditional cousins, but there are differences for those who look closely. Some, like the lapis and emerald blocks, are more obvious than others.

Because the Redwood Texture Pack is only a 16x pack, it is understandable that many textures would receive only small updates, or no updates at all in the case of wool blocks, carpets, wheat and some others. It is also simple to install and easy to enable, requiring no extra add-ons or mods to function properly and loading quickly thanks to its smaller file size. The textures for lava and water get some slight improvements with the Redwood Resource Pack, but they’re really nothing too special. Thankfully, this resource pack works well with a host of mods which can further improve its looks.
