Oerlis Realistic Photo Pro Resource Pack 1.11

The Oerlis Realistic Photo Pro resource pack adds photorealistic visuals and effects to Minecraft. The same thing can be said for a handful of other photorealistic resource packs available for the game, but many of those can’t claim to look as good as this pack does. Looking at a scene in Minecraft using standard visuals, then comparing it to the exact same scene with this pack installed and enabled, will relay this fact to you better than any written review can. If you’re here, you’re probably looking for photorealistic packs already, so be sure to give this one a try. It’s definitely worth it.

That’s because many of the smudged, basic graphics in Minecraft’s standard 16x resolution are made to look much clearer and sharper with the addition of this resource pack. Oerlis Realistic Photo Pro Resource Pack adds a great level of detail even to basic blocks, like cobblestone, as well as slabs, stairs and other construction objects found in the game. These effects range from the mundane to the amazing, and stone slabs look especially nice with the details etched into their sides. Some of these effects are so good you might be fooled into thinking you’ve got a chisel mod installed; that’s how good this resource pack is.

That does not mean every single texture in Oerlis Realistic Photo Pro resource pack is an improvement over the original design though. You can see this if you move into a mushroom island biome, because the default purple blocks there seem to be smoothed out, as if they’ve actually lost some of their texturing. Practically everything else from sand to stone to the sea looks better though. Since mushroom island biomes are so rare anyhow, you shouldn’t let that one little issue stop you from trying this high-quality resource pack. The resolution is higher as might be expected, with two versions at 128x and 256x.
