Kalos Soulsand Chapter Resource Pack 1.7.5
The Kalos Soulsand Chapter resource pack for Minecraft is an effective tool for getting rid of the bold colors and glare which plague vanilla Minecraft. Like many other resource packs whose aim is to make drastic changes to the look and feel of Minecraft, Soulsand Chapter works best when accompanied by MCPatcher and a slew of mods to improve in-game visuals. When using Soulsand Chapter, be sure to get the BetterSkys, Random Mobs and Lots o’ Biomes mods to really get the most from the resource pack. Even without mods, this resource pack does an excellent job of replacing the flat looks on monster faces with really mean glares and vicious stares.
Surprisingly Kalos Soulsand Chapter is only a 16x resource pack, which puts it among the smallest resource packs available for the game. It can’t be stressed enough that while this resource pack is decent as a standalone addition to Minecraft, it doesn’t really shine unless a handful of other mods are installed along with it. One of the best changes made by Soulsand Chapter is villagers looking significantly different from each other; they don’t all have the flat heads and giant noses which can be seen in the NPC villages of vanilla Minecraft any day of the week.
