John Smith Legacy Resource Pack 1.7.10
The John Smith Legacy resource pack gives your Minecraft save an entire overhaul. Once installed and activated, the John Smith Legacy texture pack transforms your game from a bright-and-pixelated landscape into something out of medieval times. From the moment you step foot onto a patch of land, you’ll get a sense of realism that helps you feel the grass between your toes, smell the dirt as you dig out a plot for a garden, and quickly spot the glow of torchlight that guides you to safety at night. Featuring tons of wood accents, the pack features wood-styled menus that are reminiscent of many RPGs. Crafted decorative items also feature this natural flair, which gives off an old-world vibe and lends itself to roleplaying ancient scenarios.
Whether you love using enchanted items, potions, and swords, or you simply want to create a world that takes place before the era of technology, John Smith Legacy lends itself to tons of roleplaying scenarios. An intense amount of detail is packed into this 32x Minecraft resource pack. While grass, dirt, and mineral blocks are simply enhanced, other blocks, such as glowstone, get a full makeover. Glowstone is perfectly designed for street lanterns, and paintings double as home décor; in addition to paintings, they appear as swords, cutlery, tools, and banners. The John Smith Legacy resource pack is a community effort that is constantly updated and improved upon by a handful of talented texture creators.
After the originator took a break from texturing, the group picked up where he left off and has continued to create handcrafted blocks that mimic John Smith’s RPG-inspired style. For players who love to fully customize their games, this pack is compatible with a customizer, which allows you to pick and choose individual textures for each item. If a certain block doesn’t fit in with your roleplaying world, simply swap it out for something different.
