Intermacgod Realistic Resource Pack 1.7.10

Just like changing up the look of an old room can make the space seem like something new, so too can updating the standard look of Minecraft make the game seem like a new experience. The Intermacgod Realistic resource pack for Minecraft is one of the best packs to install for those players who are sick of the cartoony look which is inherent in Minecraft. Many significant changes are made to the appearance of the game with this resource pack, but the overall effect is to make things look more realistic. Different types of tree leaves actually look like different leaves in this pack, instead of all being roughly the same with a simple palette swap to change the color.

In addition, the trees themselves each take on a different look, with cracks and ridges in the bark instead of flat, blocky textures. It’s a highly noticeable change in the appearance of the game, which is part of why Intermacgod Realistic is such a highly praised resource pack. The pack has been updated recently to work with Minecraft 1.7.9, which means horses, stained glass and other, newer entities all get updated appearances as well. This could be the best realistic resource pack out to date, but it does suffer from some exceedingly long loading times, up to 5 minutes according to the creator himself.
