4Kids Revived Resource Pack 1.7.5

Though it shares a moniker with the company behind many popular television shows like Dragon Ball Z, the 4Kids Revived resource pack for Minecraft has nothing to do with 4Kids Entertainment. With the clever use of some palette swaps, like turning the red bed blanket blue, along with effective shaders and other subtle changes, 4Kids Revived manages to make Minecraft look very different. It accomplishes this without being the same massive 512x size as some other resource packs. Simple lighting changes can do a lot to the look of the game, but that doesn’t mean many textures aren’t highly improved over their original look.

Lava is especially nice in 4Kids Revived, looking more like the molten rock it should be than some flat, reddish texture. Water also gets an update in 4Kids Revived, which adds a reflective nature to the surfaces of ponds, lakes and oceans everywhere in Minecraft. The small size of 4Kids Revived is actually kind of disingenuous, since players will still need a good deal of video and random access memory to utilize the resource pack. Those reflections put a bit of strain on graphics cards. The pack is 100% complete, with no foreseeable updates in the immediate future. Just download and install it – no add-ons or mods needed!
